About
I'm a creative operations leader who bridges the gap between exceptional creative work and the operational rigor needed to ship it at scale. With 15+ years spanning content production, UX program management, and product leadership, I bring a rare combination: deep creative credibility combined with the systems thinking required to navigate complex, matrixed organizations.
The Journey
I started my career in the broadcast production basement at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, teaching myself After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop while cutting agency reels and idea videos. From there, I spent 15 years as a creative producer and executive producer, leading multi-disciplinary teams at FCB, Levi's, PRN, and Doremus—working on brands like Microsoft, HP, Levi's, Warner Brothers Records, and McDonald's.
At PRN (Premier Retail Networks), I progressed from Senior Producer to Executive Producer over eight years, owning content strategy and production for a national media-at-retail platform. I managed $500K–$800K annual budgets, led partnerships with 100+ media brands, and developed scalable content programs that sales teams could pitch across retail partners.
At Audible, I directed the flagship Punchlines comedy podcast for two years—225 episodes that became the #1 comedy title on the service, driving 3× listenership growth and +166% YoY category sales.
The Strategic Pivot
In 2021, I made an intentional decision: I went to Product School to add product thinking to my creative toolkit. I saw how content leaders often struggled to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving tech environments—and how product managers often lacked deep creative intuition. I wanted to be the bridge.
That pivot led to roles at Meta and Amazon, where I proved I could operate at the intersection of design, engineering, and product. At Meta, I built strategic frameworks for a 700-person Avatars organization and developed sonic design systems for billions of users. At Amazon, I led UX program delivery for AI-native Alexa experiences and Echo Show hardware launches—coordinating design readiness across conversational AI, multiple device types, and parallel beta and hardware organizations.
What I Bring
Most content leaders can't navigate ambiguous, matrixed tech organizations. Most program managers don't deeply understand creative production. I do both. I understand the creative magic required to make exceptional work—and I understand the operational discipline required to ship it on time, at scale, without burning out teams.
I excel in environments where there's no clear playbook: new product categories, organizational transitions, complex stakeholder landscapes, compressed timelines. I build the systems, processes, and alignment that help teams move fast without breaking things—and I do it without slowing creative velocity.
Currently
I'm exploring senior IC and leadership opportunities at the intersection of content, product, and creative operations—roles where I can help organizations bridge creative excellence and operational discipline. I'm particularly drawn to AI-native products, hardware/software integration, and organizations scaling creative and product teams.
Personal
I grew up in Woodland Hills, California—a wonderfully suburban place where I was the weird art kid who played with synths and letraset while learning to code. (Fun fact: High school classmate O'Shea Jackson went on to become Ice Cube, and another classmate produced the movie about him.)
After high school, I packed up for San Francisco, where I've been ever since. I now live in Marin County with my wife Liza, son Jacob, and two loyal whippets, Simon and ZeeBee. When I'm not working, you'll find me playing tennis, gardening, or making music.
